Well looky here. I finally decided to pull the trigger on a personal blog. I blog professionally, but never personally. I’ve been toying with the idea for quite some time, but just haven’t done it. No better time than the present, right?!
So WELCOME to my little my little creative place to share the good things in life, one post at a time.
Oh yea, and because babies make for some good content to blog about, haha!
Here are a few things I’ve been Loving Lately
1.
Ombre Hair – yes I’m late to the party
Since I’ve had Emerson, my natural hair color is a darker dirty blonde than it used to be. Basically, it’s driving me INSANE. (hello A type personality) and I am going to try a similar version of the below pic at my hair appointment this weekend, using my natural color as the base and fading out. Excited to try something new.

Kristen Ess Thickening Spray
This stuff if SO good! Another blogger recommended it and it’s great for some lift. I found this at Target, but I think it’s possible they are discontinuing it there?? Grab some while you can.
3.
Rondel Brut Cava Champagne
This champagne is really good for the price point and is fun to sip on during the summertime. I used it recently at a work event and it was great. If you are anything like me, you have to lay off your staple and most fav red wines during the dog days of summer and this is a good option. Another fav for me has been White Claw Hard Seltzer, which is super low cal, no sugar and legit good. As a La Croix addict, these are perfect in my book! I’ve seen White Claw Seltzer lots of places.

Hello Swim Suit Sales!
This is the best time of the year to be on the lookout for some swimwear sales! There’s no denying that I’m a swim suit lover, and this time of the year all the summer items start hitting the sale and clearance racks to make room for fall lines coming in for back-to-school. Be on the lookout the next month or so!
A fav of mine this summer has been this suit that is so flattering and has great coverage for when your kid is hanging off of you. 🙂 Planning on doing a post soon about ‘Fav Cute Mom Swimwear’.
5.
Sweet Summer Time
Soaking all the summer we can get. We have had a few great beach trips already this year and have one more planned for sure. Our neighborhood pool has been a hit and we’ve enjoyed plenty of family time beating the heat a few times a week. Great pool float is a must for baby or adult! We have this one for baby and one of these for us! Can’t beat those prices either!
We even have a blow-up baby pool (cheap option here) that we set up on weekends which can be a quick cool off in-between naps and other weekend things. It may be the ‘Dog Days of Summer’ but we are still loving it!!!
