1 // New Book – The Couple Next Door
I’ve seen a lot of people rave about this book so I picked it up. It’s a page turner! Also, a little secret of mine – I purchase almost all of my books from Amazon used for $1-$4 each in good condition!
2 // Recent Trader Joe’s Favs
Butternut Squash Zig Zags– Good low-carb option that is pre-cut. Toss these with olive oil and salt and pepper and roast them.
Everything But The Bagel Seasoning– I’m a high protein breakfast person and eat eggs and salsa every single morning. This seasoning sprinkled over top is fab! It’s good on everything from meat to eggs to avocado and adds a nice crunch.
Black Bean and Corn Enchiladas – I am a fan of keeping some frozen easy (not total junk food) lunch options stocked, especially at work but I do not like weird frozen meat varieties. These Trader Joe’s enchiladas are vegan and really great! At $2.50 each, you can’t beat it.
3 // Netflix Reboot of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy
My parents used to watch this show when it was out 10+ years ago and loved it. The “Fab Five” advise men on fashion, grooming, food, culture and design in this modern reboot of the Emmy Award-winning reality series. The guys they help are nominated by someone in their life that thinks they could use a some assistance. Y’all it’s so good! I for sure have my favorite episodes. The “Fab Five” can be a bit over-the-top (shocker!) at times, but all the things they help these poor fellas with are game-changing!
4 // Dohm White Noise Machine
We never got one of these for Emerson when he was a baby because he was a great sleeper, but since moving him to his new big boy room – and with a little sister on the way – I thought it would be a good idea to grab a few of these for everyone. I love this one because it’s not all “kid-ish” and it creates an adjustable white noise versus music and lights. I love the sound of a fan at night so this is right up my alley.
This is totally me. Five or ten years ago I wanted to ‘Pinterest/DIY’ everything possible, but fast forward a few years and I ‘Prime’ the heck out of 95% of everything! 😂
Last Sunday before church I found Emerson sitting in this crate and it cracked me up. He thought he was something sitting in there like a king!
Just enjoying the pretty weather before it turned all wintery again this week. Our February was far warmer and more ‘spring-like’ than our March has been. Isn’t it supposed to be spring?!
