2018 Halloween

It’s Halloween week!  Yesterday, our church hosted their annual Family Fall Fest that is a such huge event in the community.  Someone mentioned that they anticipated over 1,000 kids would be coming through.  It was our first time attending and was so much fun.  Both of our kids were totally mesmerized with all of the things to look at.  We stayed for about an hour and a half and participated in the Trunk or Treat portion where families decorate their vehicles and hand out candy out of the trunks of their cars.

On actual Halloween day I’ll attend Emerson’s class party and we will Trick-or-Treat at some of the neighborhood houses.

Emerson is Ralphie in the pink bunny suit from the classic Christmas movie, A Christmas Story.  I thought he’d make a perfect Ralphie because he has the blonde hair and glasses already built-in.  🙂  I made this costume out of a little girls pink track suit from Limited Too, pink bunny slippers and some pink bunny ears that we bent up and secured to the hood to give it the “deranged bunny look” – (like the line in the movie!)

I unfortunately take no real credit for Elliott’s costume.  I bought it last year on clearance when I had just found out that I was pregnant.  I love candy corn, so I could not resist!  Both of these costumes were nice and warm – added bonus.

The whole Mast crew waiting in line at the Family Fall Fest.

Little girl was so cozy, she fell asleep!
