We celebrated our favorite TWO year old today! Emerson’s Lightning McQueen 2nd Birthday Party was the theme. He is absolutely obsessed with the movie and all things cars/trucks/wheels. We had just a few friends over to play and some family!
He’s really great at telling us that he’s two when we ask how old he is, but holding up the two fingers is hard! It’s either one or all of them, haha!

I worked hard on sticking with the Cars 3 – Lightning McQueen theme, all the way down to naming all the food with cars themed names and doing my best at creating a Lightning McQueen out of our kitchen island.
Stephen gets credit for the ‘High Octane Adult Fueling Station’ name. 🙂 This included a mimosa bar.
Emerson isn’t a huge fan of cake, so we did ice cream cups instead. Yes, I’m aware that there are three candles in his ice cream. 🙂 Two plus one for good luck.
Present time! This little boy is so spoiled by everyone.
Thank you to all that came to celebrate our big two year old today! Happy Birthday Emerson James! Two years just flew by in the blink of an eye. We love you!
