Per the usual, Christmastime was a blur of busy wonderfulness. I’m trying to take a breath today and continue to count my blessings. I wanted to share some of the fun pics from the past week or two.
Here we are at Emerson’s school Christmas Danish & Tea Breakfast that was followed by the cutest Preschool Christmas Program. Totally melted our hearts. Emerson rocked the “Jingle Bells”.
Two days later Emerson participated in our church’s Children’s Christmas Program. Here we are waiting for big bro to come on stage.
It’s not the winter/holiday season without some sickness, am I right?! Our kids brought home some nasty cold/viral thing that landed them both in the peds office with fevers, drippy everything and ear infections. Stephen and I tried to tough it out for weeks but finally caved and went to the Urgent Care on Christmas Eve Eve. Everyone seems to be on the mend now.
Four generations in this picture from Stephen’s family Christmas get-together!
Family pic after church on Sunday. 🙂
One of Emerson’s big Christmas gifts was this amazing train set activity table. It only took Stephen and I several hours over a few days to construct, plus a tube of Gorilla glue, but he LOVES it!
Christmas Eve at Brooke’s house. Aren’t these two girls cute in their twinsie outfits?!
A few pics on Christmas Day of my fam. In the eyes of children we find the joy of Christmas; in their hearts we find the meaning.
