My parents came in for a little spring visit with us this week. They stayed five days and it was wonderful! It makes my heart so full to see my babies with my parents.
First stop was the library. We didn’t know this, but our local library has moved into a beautiful new location with a great children’s section. We checked out a big stack of books and two airplane DVDs for Emerson.
Next we swung into our pediatrician to have both kid’s ears re-checked. Emerson has had a good stretch after his second set of tubes were put in, but they both managed to get ear infections a few weeks back. After a round of antibiotics, they go back to make sure the infection has cleared. Both kids checked out CLEAR!
On Saturday we visited a newer brewery called Gypsy Road Brewery. We had been before and noticed a great area for kids. Gotta love a kid-friendly brewery!
We lucked out with really pretty spring weather this weekend and spent as much time outside as possible.
Lettin’ it all hang out here!
Elliott’s first time swinging and she was a FAN!
For anyone who’s keeping track – YES, Emerson broke another bone. Second cast within a year. Allllll boy, folks!
On our last day – Monday, we spent the morning at home. Emerson was obsessed with the new Lego set we got for him.
The girls ran out for pedicures! Little princess sat like and angel in my lap the entire time. I loved it!
One more special thing – Elliott started to crawl on this trip while my parents were here. It is just so fun when the different phases happen and thankful they were able to experience that. Until next time! We love it when grandparents are here. We’d love for them to move closer sometime soon!
