Every year we look forward to visiting a little pumpkin patch in the middle of our town. The opening weekend is the first weekend in October. We’ve had the hottest, longest summer/early fall. Literally high 90’s for months, y’all! It was 99 two days ago and then a cold front came in and Saturday was BEAUTIFUL. 58 degrees and overcast, with a breeze. Fall weather 101. So it felt fitting to head to the pumpkin patch! For the record, last year it was in the high 80’s when we went on the same weekend last year.
Emerson was so psyched about going, he told his teacher on Friday (right before nap) – “One last thing … we are going to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday.” – HAHA! One of his little classmates was at the patch when we got there, so he had a blast with her.
Yes – Stephen surprised us all this week when he shaved his head at his haircut appointment! He’s got a great beard that compliments it well!
