Easter 2020. A unique one for sure.
We celebrated as a little family unit and complied with the social distancing rules in place due to the COVID-19 quarantine. We made the absolute most of it and I captured some of the goodness in the photos to follow!
First up, we did some egg dying! Everyone was decently behaved. No dye was consumed and only one green cup of dye hit the dining room rug which I quickly cleaned up, salvaging the rug! #mamawin
We did some of these eggs with shaving cream and food coloring to get a tie-dyed look and I’m just going to warn you that it was not easy to get that off our hands when we finished up but they turned out pretty! I forgot to get a shot after we rinsed the shaving cream!
I picked up three of these sweet baskets earlier in the year and started filling them with goodies before all of the craziness began and I’m so thankful that I did. Easter isn’t about the eggs dying, the baskets or the egg hunts at all. But I’m happy to share some little treats and activities while instilling the true meaning of Easter – The story of how Jesus died so we can live.
Bunny pancake breakfast!
We did a little at-home egg hunt for the kids. They loved it!
My bunnies. I’m so lucky.
23 weeks pregnant, for those of you who are counting. I know I sure have lost track this pregnancy. I had to look it up on my pregnancy app this morning. Too busy!
Up from the ashes, hope will arise. Death is defeated, the King is alive! He is risen! ✝️🌿 Wishing you all a safe and Happy Easter!
