Per our annual tradition, we hit the pumpkin patch up the first weekend in October. Our usual spot was not open (they’ve had a parking lot renovation and ended up opening a little late – a few days ago). We tried Kernersville Pumpkin Patch & Christmas Trees and it was super for kids! They had a cute little set up, with a corn pool, bean bag toss, and lots of sweet little photo opps. We met friends and got to the patch bright and early on Saturday morning. It ended up being the perfect time, as we were the first ones there and had the place to ourselves for most of our visit.
My kids do love picking out their pumpkins, but I did not realize how much they love a pool of field corn, haha! I mean it would be hours of entertainment! The little things!
We might try to hit up a few more festive outdoor pumpkin/festival type places this fall. We will be back to this new location next year. Everyone loved it!
