We had our last baby dedication at church this past weekend. Third baby! Our church had not held a baby dedication in over a year due to the pandemic, so it was a really large group of babies. 17! A Baby Dedication is a church service in which parents make a public statement of faith to raise their child under God’s grace and wisdom. We had some family attend the service and others watched via livestream.
All of our kids were well behaved during the dedication portion at the beginning of the service. We only sweat a little bit up there, haha. Even before having kids, I really loved attending a service that had a baby dedication as part of it. I just love the meaning behind it and of course seeing all the little families with their babies.
