We had an unseasonably cooler Memorial Day weekend where the temps dropped from the 80s into the low 70s and 60s for highs. We barely got to get in to our swimsuits for opening weekend at the pool, which never happens! My kids begged me to ride up there and we took a dip before the rains came on Saturday.
On Monday we attended a Memorial Day Bash at Summerfield Farms, which had a petting zoo, food trucks, sprinklers, and live music. My kids were wild and did all the things possible. Pure childhood memory bliss! I just loving seeing kids running a muck having a blast!
Our family does not take for granted the ultimate sacrifice for which men and women have made to protect our beautiful country. 
We will always be grateful.
