Shew y’all! Our weekend was a blur. I barely sat down. Weekend like this are so much fun, but I will say that my laundry pile is as tall as me!
On Saturday morning, Elliott went to her Broadway Babies dance class. Emerson rode with me and we noticed there was a car show right by her dance center. He was in little boy heaven!

Mid Afternoon, Elliott had a special ‘Cookie Decorating with Belle’ activity with some of her little friends. We went to Reserving Royalty for this event.

That evening, I had a girl’s night with some of my friends I had not seen in forever! I could have stayed all night and chatted. We took zero pictures if that tells you how good of a time we had. π
On Sunday morning, Stephen and I both had our once-a-month serving duty at church. Stephen does security and I work in the preschool/nursery classes. We rushed home to get the kids fed lunch so we had time to get un-dressed, then re-dressed to get Elliott out of the door for the Kernersville Christmas parade.

We have the best small-town feel events in our town. The Fourth of July and Christmas Parades are the biggest in the Triad area. Elliott and I were part of the parade with her dance studio, Extravadance & Tumble. Stephen, Landon and Emerson came separately to watch the parade.

Totally loving being a dance mama!

The parade experience was so fun. We can’t want to do it again next year. Emerson wants to be in the parade, so maybe we can do it with one of his sport teams.

We finally made it out of the parade traffic and got home in time to make some taco soup and relax and reset for the new week.
We have lots more Christmas fun coming over the coming weeks! I love this time of the year!
xx,
Mallory
