We did our first solo parent beach vacay with our three kids this year. We have gone in the past with other family members or friends, but never alone with our three.
On the search for the perfect spot for our crew, we had specs like this: NC or SC 
Beach-front kid friendly family hotel/resort/condo/property. Would like double rooms or multiple bedrooms so we as parents can have our own space when the kids go to bed. 
Would like beach front access AND pools, and other kid kid friendly amenities are a plus. Definitely a family friendly property. 
Need options to keep them entertained easily and accommodate naps.
So, it needed a lot! We found this property at North Myrtle, called North Beach Plantation Resort & Villas, from a rec from two girlfriends. It was perfect for us. Directly across (ocean front) from Barefoot Landing and near Nacho Hippo, Hamburger Joes.
We loved it so much that we already rebooked the trip for the same week (Stephen’s birthday week) next year! I did book this prior to my leg break accident, so I made it work with my boot, crutches and rented a scooter down there. Here are some snaps from our week in July.
